Myanmar Cyclone: Bad Karma?

For Buddhists, karma regulates morality: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. As Myanmar digs out from the devastating Cyclone Nargis–the immediate explanation from some of Myanmar’s people is “bad karma.” They believe that the cyclone is a consequence of military rulers’ brutal crackdown of Buddhist monks.
